Head Lice

- If a student is found with active head lice, the parent/guardian of the student will be excluded from school until the head lice is treated.
- The student cannot return to school until he/she is nit-free.
- The parent/guardian is encouraged to begin treatment of the student immediately and to check all members of the family.
- Exposure letters will be mailed home to parents/guardians of students in that class or school.
