Feb. 12, 2020: Cooling Pilot Project Update
An update on the Cooling Pilot Project was provided by Larry Raffo, HCSD Consultant and Mike Wasserman, CPM.

Dec. 11, 2019: Facilities Master Plans
The Hillsborough City School District (HCSD) have been in the process of developing a Districtwide Facilities Master Plan including all school sites and the district office. Last spring, Quattrocchi Kwok Architects (QKA) held over 28 meetings with staff, parents and the community as a springboard for site designs. Over the last month, the team from QKA have been meeting with staff and parents to review the latest drawings. We are in the process of finalizing the drawings and then moving forward with prioritization of projects.
The attached file shows the plans created by QKA based on the feedback and input they received last spring and this fall.

Nov. 13, 2019 Air Conditioning Units Presentation
Superintendent Carlomagno and Larry Raffo presented on the existing air conditioning units active in the school district (currently being used in the school district) and information on portable air conditioning units

Nov. 13, 2019 Cooling Pilot Project
Mike Wasserman from CPM will present the latest information regarding the HCSD Cooling Pilot Project. This project includes placing ceiling fans in 4 classrooms at each school site. Additionally, Crocker Middle School will add insulation and attic vents.

Oct 16, 2019: Cooling Systems
Superintendent Carlomagno, Manager of Maintenance and Operations, Ron Russo, and Construction Consultant, Larry Raffo will give an update to the Board regarding steps taken to address classroom temperatures on hot day.
