The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) has issued new COVID-19 guidance which ends the requirement to isolate for five-days after testing positive. The new guidance is shared below:

If your child tests positive and has no symptoms:

    • Your child can come to school, but should wear a mask for 10 days after testing positive.
If your child tests positive and has symptoms (fever and/or feels ill):
    • Your child should stay home until they have not had a fever for 24 hours without using fever-reducing medication AND other COVID-19 symptoms are mild and improving. Your child should wear a mask for 10 days after the start of symptoms.
Please let us know if your child tests positive for COVID-19 by calling your child's school. We are no longer going to use the reporting app. Our elementary principals will send a brief communication home if there is a child who tests positive in your child's classroom. As has been past practice, Crocker will not send home individual letters if a positive COVID-19 case has been reported.
