In June 2022, the voters of the Hillsborough City School District passed a general obligation bond to modernize HCSD facilities and the District’s Board of Education appointed the 2002 Bond Measure B Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee for all current and future bond measures, including 2022 Bond Measure H. The Citizens’ Oversight Committee was formed by the Board as required by State law which requires a committee of at least seven members to actively review and report on the proper expenditures of the taxpayer's money at least once a year.
